Amit Patni is a promoter shareholder of Patni Computers and former Director of PCS Technology Ltd. The Patni group was a pioneer in Indian ITES. The promoter family stake in Patni Computers was divested in May 2011 in a sale to iGate Corporation at value of $1.5 billion. Amit has a MBA from Babson College, Boston, USA and 22 years’ of extensive experience in technology, software and projects. He has extensive experience in the computer hardware and components market in India and overseas. In his various roles, Amit has independently ensured implementation of Greenfield projects and launched new business operations.
Currently Amit Patni is Founder & Director of RAAY Global Investments (Family Office), Co-founder & Chairman at Nirvana Venture Advisors (40 Million USD Digital & Internet Venture Fund), Co-founder and Partner in Elysium Investment Advisors (A Hedge Fund) and Co-Founder and Partner in The Hive-India (A Big Data incubator), and Director at Waterfield Advisors ( A Boutique Family Business Advisory Services Firm)
Ms. Benaifer Malandkar is the CIO of RAAY the family office of the Amit Patni Group, of Patni Computers. The promoter family divested their stake in May 2011 to I-Gate Corporation at $1.5 bn. She is responsible for investment management of the group including identification, evaluation, deal execution and monitoring every investment across a gamut of diverse asset classes.
A Commerce Graduate from Jai Hind College, she received her Masters in Business Administration from JDBIMS, Mumbai. Prior to joining RAAY, she worked with firms like Citibank, ICICI Prudential AMC, RBS and SMIFS securities in various roles gathering more than 22 years of experience in the banking, debt markets, asset management and private banking. She also held a significant position in the core strategy team at ICICI Prudential AMC and worked in varied teams across her tenure there.
She is on the board of various companies of the group.
Mr. Dharmendra Desai has more than 22 years of experience of handling Family Office accounts and taxation requirements. As an expert in finance, he has held authoritative positions across Corporate Finance, Accounts and Tax Divisions in organizations like Sanghvi Group, Ichibaan Automobiles, Morarjee Textiles and Piramal Enterprises. Mr. Desai is a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
Mr. Sushant Kumar has built his skills and expertise from more than 20 years of experience in equity research and portfolio management. He has previously worked with reputed organizations like FICCI, K R Choksey and ICICI Prudential Asset Management, where he held key positions. He has an MBA from ICFAI Business School.
Sandeep steering its efforts to deliver research, opinion in various investments decisions including start-up investments, mutual funds, and new projects at RAAY. Sandeep has spent 18 years in the financial services sector. Prior to joining RAAY in 2015, he served CRISIL, ICICI Prudential Asset Management. Sandeep holds MBA in Finance.
